Their creek-side picnic tasting is the best-kept secret in the valley. Bring your own cheese board — they provide the wine and the view.

Ask about the wine blending workshop — you'll create your own custom blend and take home a bottle. Schedule for weekdays when the winemaker has more time.

West Fork Trail
Sedona's most beloved trail — 6.9 miles through a narrow box canyon with 13 creek crossings and towering red rock walls. Fall colors are spectacular.
Go early. By 9 AM the parking lot is full. The first mile is paved — keep going, it gets better. Fall colors peak in late October.
Bell Rock Pathway
Easy 3.6-mile loop around one of Sedona's most iconic formations. Gentle terrain with spectacular views at every turn. A vortex site.
The views are incredible at sunset. Start from the Bell Rock Vista parking area for the best approach. Great for beginners.
Cathedral Rock Trail
Challenging 1.2-mile climb to the saddle between Cathedral Rock's spires. 360-degree views at the top and a powerful vortex site.
Sunrise is magical here with fewer people than sunset. The rock scramble near the top looks harder than it is — use the cairns. Bring grippy shoes.
Elote Cafe
Award-winning Mexican-inspired cuisine by Chef Jeff Smedstad. The famous elote appetizer and tableside guacamole are legendary.
Arrive 30 minutes before opening (5 PM) to get on the waitlist, or make reservations weeks in advance. The signature elote appetizer is a must-order.
Up the Creek Bistro
Creek-side dining right here in Cornville. Fresh, seasonal ingredients and a laid-back atmosphere. Our closest restaurant recommendation.
Sit on the patio overlooking the creek. The weekend brunch is excellent and less crowded than Sedona spots.
Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill

Reserve 2-3 weeks in advance and request window or patio seating for sunset. The empanadas and paella are standout dishes.
Verde Canyon Railroad
A 4-hour scenic rail journey through Verde Canyon — wilderness inaccessible by road. Eagles, ancient ruins, and dramatic canyon walls.

Jerome Historic District
Former copper mining town turned artist community, perched on the side of Cleopatra Hill. Galleries, shops, wine tasting, and ghost tours.
The Haunted Hamburger has the best views and burgers. Don't skip the Jerome State Historic Park — the Douglas Mansion tells the whole mining story.
Montezuma Castle
Well-preserved 20-room cliff dwelling from the 12th century. One of the best-preserved cliff dwellings in North America.
